Great location near the beach and friendly staff. The rooms had a nice breeze from the sea and a ceiling fan to keep cool. The hot shower was a bonus. There were also seating areas outside. I highly recommend this hotel.

Right by the beach, city center location, hammocks, good internet, big lockers. As a solo traveler, I loved the amazing location and friendly staff.
Felt very homey, no complaints.

Located across from beach, rooms have ceiling fans and good breeze. Outdoor seating under mango trees but be cautious. Great location close to everything. Helpful staff and fabulous-looking food. Basic, compact and functional rooms with mosquito screens.

stayed at esperanza in SJDS before and was impressed, but this time was even better. location is unbeatable, right by the beach and a basketball court. staff were friendly and helpful, and the small locker in the room was useful. overall, great value for the price.
Windows just nets, not very secure.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better, with the beach right across the road. The rooms had ceiling fans and some enjoyed a nice breeze from the sea. There were seating areas outside, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring.
